I want to try XCOM 2, but I don't know if I should skip the first one.

I really appreciate the long list, I put a few on my wish list. A few other favorites of mine (in alphabetical order): I cut my teeth on the original Xcom in 1994, and I love the reboots of XCOM and XCOM 2. Originally posted by eightiesboi:Hey! I find it a bit too intense for my liking, but it is quite striking. * Othercide - I admit, I like the aesthetic more than the game. * Fights in Tight Spaces - Another turn-based deckbuilder, but I must like it, because I've spent over 250 hours in game. I haven't played in a while, but I did enjoy it. * Chaos Reborn - Deck-builder and turn-based, with a campaign map and some decent stories. I recommend it strongly to any BSG fan, and recommend to any other turn-based gamers. * Battlestar Galactica Deadlock - While there are a lot of differences between Wildermyth and BSG Deadlock, it's got a lot going for it as well. * Antihero - It's a digital board game, but you may find something to like here.
